Bid to poison 3 children over family dispute

Jayakumar was embroiled in a property dispute with his brother Ramachandran, also living in the same village, for some time. On Sunday, following a verbal altercation with his brother, Jayakumar and his wife Amirthavali were attacked by some relatives who supported Ramachandran. Both were rushed to Vaniyambadi government hospital, where Amirthavalli was admitted, while Jayakumar received first aid and returned home.

When he came back, Jayakumar found his three girl children Porutchelvi (12), Aswini (10) and Kavya (7) lying unconscious with froth on their mouth. 

Jayakumar rushed his daughters to the Vaniyambadi GH, where they were declared to be out of danger on Monday. Suspecting foul play, Jayakumar lodged a complaint with Thimmampet police, who have registered a case.
