No respite: Post Class 12 boards, entrance to follow
Looks like both CBSE and State Board students will have no time to celebrate after completing their board exams. Forget celebrations, they say that they don’t even have enough time to prepare for the competitive exams that are scheduled almost immediately.

While CBSE Class 12 board exams end on April 13, with the physical education exam, it will end on April 6 for State Board students. However, IIT-Joint Entrance Exam will take place on April 8 and NEET on May 6.
“We didn’t have enough time to prepare for the competitive exams. I took IIT coaching classes till January and then discontinued to prepare for the boards. Two days to prepare is not enough,” says Aravind Kumar, a class 12 student. “I guess I will to wait till everything is over to watch the movies that I missed,” he added. Several Deemed Universities also have their entrance exams in April.
Even those preparing for medical entrance exams will have to wrap up their celebrations soon. The weekend classes in the government NEET training centres were stopped in February to enable students to prepare for the boards.
However, daily classes will be held once the board exams are over. “Our schedule will continue to be hectic. We must quickly switch gears from board exams to competitive exams,” said Priyadarshini M, a class 12 biology student.
