TTV Dinakaran: Government stalling schemes to RK Nagar

The government has stalled all the projects started by former chief minister J Jayalalithaa, since the people of the area had defeated the ruling party in the bypoll, he said. The works for constructing two railway overbridges near the Ennore-Korukkupet Road at a cost of Rs 117 crore had been stopped. The works for setting up parks at Bharathi Nagar and Arinarayanapuram, besides the construction works for a market have been blocked, Dinakaran alleged. 

He also charged that two of his supporters Nagaraj and Ponpandi Ganesan have been arrested on false cases. Due to the atrocities of police, a fishermen Thamizharasan had died, but the police were trying to convert his death into an accident, he alleged.  Dinakaran threatened to take legal action against police and appealed to the government to change their attitude towards RK Nagar.
