Weaver couple end lives over lack of job orders

The deceased, Srinivasalu and Latha, were weavers by profession and lived in MS Nagar. Police said there were differences between the couple since Srinivasalu was struggling for a job and they often quarreled.

Around 3 pm, they poured kerosene and set themselves ablaze. Hearing their cries for help, neighbours rushed to the house, but by then the bodies had already been charred completely. 

Later, the bodies were for autopsy. Based on their son Mahendran’s complaint, a case has been registered and further inquiry was underway.
