DMK man killed in accident
A 70-year-old DMK functionary who came to pay tribute at Anna memorial on his death anniversary was fatally knocked by a two-wheeler on Walajah Road on Saturday.

The deceased A Khaja Moideen of Royapettah was state deputy secretary of DMK’s minority wing. He was walking along with another DMK cadre, when a two-wheeler hit him near Madras University.Â
Both fell on the road and Khaja Moideen suffered severe head injuries. He was rushed to RGGGH where he died without responding to treatment. Anna Square police have registered a case and arrested the two-wheeler rider Sathiskumar (25) of Korukkupet.
