Lorry hits bicycle, kid dies
A four-year-old boy was killed, and his elder brother injured, when a lorry rammed their bicycle in Guduvanchery on Tuesday morning.

The deceased G Tarun, an UKG student and his brother Aravind, a Class 6 student, were on their way to the school, when a speeding lorry rammed their bicycle from behind on the Nellikuppam-Guduvanchery Road.Â
In the impact, both fell off and suffered grievous injuries. The kids were rushed to the hospital, but Tarun was declared dead on arrival.Â
The lorry driver Ezhumalai (34) was arrested by the police. The kids were sons of a fruit shop owner.
