History-sheeter murder: 1 held
MKB Nagar police had already arrested two men Arunkumar and Ramalingam in connection with the murder. The hunt is on for two more men.

Two days after a 41-year-old history-sheeter Gnanasekaran alias Kulla Kanna was hacked to death near his house in Vyasarpadi, police have arrested the main accused Appu alias Kalaiselvan. Police tracked him to his friend’s house in Korrukkupet and nabbed him. Police said that Appu had previous enmity with Gnanasekaran, a painter. On Saturday night, Appu hacked Gnansekaran to death along with four other men, when he was returning home in an inebriated state.
