Man falls to herbal agency bait; loses Rs 9 lakhs to Malaysian woman
The state police are probing a complaint from a man from Villupuram which said that he had been cheated to the tune of Rs 9 lakh by a Malaysian woman who had promised partnership in a herbal medicine selling agency and collected money from him.

The woman holds Malaysian and Indian passports in different names and had cheated many people in similar fashion after collecting money and promising business partnerships.
According to a complaint from S Suresh of Gingee, submitted to the state police headquarters on Friday, the Malaysian woman, who posed as business woman and aged about 52, is connected to many incidents of cheatings in the country with different identities. Suresh who had submitted the copies of the woman’s two passports and other back grounds, claimed she even have an Indian Aadhar card. The woman in question has two Indian passports, one of which has an address of an empty plot in Madurai.
He had also submitted the passport numbers to the police. He says he decided to approach the state police headquarters as there was no action on his complaint given to Madurai police.
According to him, the woman in question was declared as proclaimed offender by a Ludhiana court and Punjab police are on the lookout for her.
