Financier Anbu Chelliyan yet to be nabbed

While special teams have been combing Chennai, Madurai and other places associated with Anbu Chelliyan, police have learnt from reliable sources that he might be hiding in Theni district. “The people we inquired suggested that he might be hiding in Theni, but we are trying get the exact location,” said an official. 

His office and residence in Chennai remain locked ever since actor/producer Sasikumar filed a complaint against him at Valasaravakkam police station a week ago, a lookout notice has been issued to the airport to prevent him from escaping. Sasikumar appeared before police on Sunday and gave the details of the incident. Police said that a full-fledged hunt for Anbu Chelliyan has been launched with the completion of investigation with all important sources.
