    MRTS services on Beach – Velachery section would be cancelled owing to engineering works on the section on November 18 and 19.

    EMUs starting from Chennai Beach to Velachery at 11.30 am, 11.45 am, 12.05 pm, 12.25 pm, 12.45 pm, 1.05 pm, 1.25 pm, 1.45 pm, 2.05 pm, 2.25 pm, 2.45 pm, 3.05 pm and 3.25 pm on November 18 will be cancelled.

    On the opposite direction, MRTS services scheduled to start from Velachery at 11.35 am, 11.55 am, 12.15 pm, 12.35 pm, 12.55 pm, 13.15 pm, 13.35 pm, 13.55 pm, 14.15 pm, 14.35 pm, 14.55 pm, 15.05 pm and 15.25 pm on November 18 will be cancelled. There would be no MRTS service on both directions between 11.20 am and 3.45 pm.

    On November 19, MRTS services, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 11.40 am, 12 pm, 12.20 pm, 12.40 pm, 13 pm, 13.20 pm, 13.40 pm, 14 pm, 14.20 pm, 14.40 pm, 15 pm and 15.20 pm. would be cancelled.

    There would be no MRTS service from Chennai Beach to Velachery after 11.20 am. and up to 15.40 pm.

    Trains starting scheduled to leave Velachery at 11.30 am, 11.50 am, 12.10 pm, 12.30 pm, 12.50 pm, 13.10 pm, 13.30 pm, 13.50 pm, 14.10 pm, 14.30 pm, 14.50 pm and 15.10 pm. on November 19 to Chennai Beach

    will be cancelled. There would be no MRTS service from Velachery to Chennai Beach after 11.10 am up to 15.30 pm.

    Southern Railway (SR) has revised the schedule of Tambaram – Sengottai express trains for four days in the ensuing week. Train No: 06071, scheduled to leave Tambaram at 7 am on November 17, 18, 20 and 22, would started late by an hour and 30 minutes. Train No: 06072, scheduled to leave Sengottai at 6 am on November 17, 18, 19 and 21, has been rescheduled to leave Sengottai at 7.15 am.

    Also, pattern of EMU services on Chennai – Tiruvallur section has been changed due to engineering works between Ambattur and Avadi on November 18 and 19. Several EMUs operated from MMC to Tiruvallur, Avadi, Kadambattur, Arakkonam and Pattabiram, Beach to Tiruvallur, Pattabiram, Avadi and Tiruttani would be cancelled.

    The passenger special trains from MMC / Chennai Beach towards suburban stations will not stop at Korattur, Pattaravakkam, Thirumullaivoil, Annanur, Avadi, Hindu College and Pattabiram.

    Passenger special trains will be run on November 18 and 19 owing to the cancellation.

    However, the passenger special trains from suburban stations towards MMC / Chennai Beach would not stop at Pattabiram, Hindu College, Annanur, Thirumullaivoil, Ambattur, Pattaravakkam and Korattur.
