The car mechanic, Thangaraj (32) of KK Nagar, who committed suicide by hanging was anaemic and undergoing treatment, said police. Thangaraj reportedly complained of unbearable pain to his parents on Wednesday night before going to bed.
In another incident, a 27-year old man who was addicted to alcohol, committed suicide in Kannagi Nagar on Wednesday night. The deceased, Suresh, a construction labourer, was living with his mother and sister, said police.
In the third incident, a 32-year old security guard committed suicide in his house on Pandian Street, Avvai Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur. According to police, the deceased, Rajendran, suspected his wife Kanniyammal of infidelity.
