Two men die in different accidents
A 28-year-old man was killed due to the rash driving of a mini truck driver on Saturday night. The deceased, Sanakiyan, was returning home in Perungalathur, after shutting his meat shop in Tambaram.

Around 11.30 pm, a mini truck coming from Perungaluthur flyover suddenly took a right turn at the traffic signal violating the rules. Sanakiyan, who was coming behind on his two-wheeler, hit the mini truck.Â
In the impact, Saanakiyan was thrown off the bike. Passersby rushed him to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead. Chromepet Traffic investigation police have arrested the mini truck driver K Veeraraghavan (47).Â
Electrician electrocutedÂ
A 54-year-old electrician was electrocuted while at work in Kodambakkam on Sunday. The deceased who was identified as S Rose of Vadapalani, was involved in fixing an electric meter box at the house of P Umathapathy on Vanniyar Street in Kodambakkam, when the incident happened.Â
