J Deepa blamed both the ruling and TTV Dinakaran factions and claimed that they are not there for developing the party but with some hidden agenda. She also said that she had sent relevant documents to the Election Commission for the revival of the party and symbol and claimed that her petition is under review. “I would certainly win in the election and serve people in the place of Amma (Jayalalithaa),” she said.
Commenting on the symbol issue, Deepa said those who had the majority of cadre on their side should get the ‘Two Leaves’ symbol and stressed that she is the one who is eligible for it. In the meantime, she said that the merger of both O Panneerselvam and Edappadi K Palaniswami factions is an expression of personal interest.
“Some prominent person is behind the merger and they both (EPS-OPS) lost their credibility among the people, while Dinakaran has been working for the DMK. They are not for developing the party but work for their individual development,” Deepa added.
