Techie missing for 2 days found dead in apartment

Police believe that he could have fell down on Tuesday night and nobody noticed his body until foul smell started emanating from the body. Police identified the deceased as Rajaram (44) a resident of Jains West Minister apartment.

Rajaram, a software engineer from an IT firm in Kanthachavadi was living on the 13th floor of the building with his wife Deepa (41) and daughter Rakshitha. Rajaram’s wife Deepa lodged a missing complaint with Virugambakkam police station stating that her husband gone missing on Tuesday night after he went to withdraw cash from the ATM. 

Police said that on Tuesday night, when Rajaram stepped out of his house, he had received a call on his mobile phone. 

“He could have gone up to the terrace to attend the call, when he could have fell into the narrow passage,” police sources said. Police said he usually goes to terrace to attend calls as he faced mobile signal problem.
