Auto driver hurls petrol bomb at house in Chennai, held

Madhankumar apparently held a grudge against the neighbour and they quarrelled often, said the police.

On Tuesday night, a drunk Madhankumar allegedly got into verbal fight with Jagan, who works as a plumber and lives in the next house on the third street of Venkatesapuram.

During the argument, Madhankumar took out a glass bottle filled with petrol, threw it into Jagan’s house after lighting it.

Neighbours rushed to the spot and helped Jagan douse the fire before it spread inside the house.

Based on his complaint, the Ice House police rushed to the spot and arrested Madhankumar.
