History-sheeter dies as autorickshaw catches fire
A 26-year-old history-sheeter, who has many assault cases pending against him, died of burns at Kilpauk Medical College Hospital early on Friday.

The autorickshaw in which he was sleeping, caught fire on Thursday night. Â The deceased has been identified as Dhadi Appu alias Lokeshkumar from Pudhur in Ambattur. Police said Appu had consumed liquor and was unable to drive the auto.Â
So, he parked the vehicle in front his friend Sakthi's house in Ayanavaram and slept inside. Within an hour, Sakthi heard the loud cries of Appu and ran out his house to see his friend burning along with the auto.
