32-year-old biker dies as garbage truck runs over him
A 32-year-old biker died after being knocked down by a garbage truck on Santhome High road on Thursday.

S Raj Kumar, a resident of Avvai Nagar, Srinivasapuram, of Pattinapakkam, worked as a house-keeping staff in a private company. He was on his way to work around 8.45 am when the truck hit him.Â
The police said that he was passing by a fuel station in Pattinapakkam when the truck, while trying to overtake him, ran over him.Â
His head was crushed under its rear wheels. He was not wearing a helmet. A case has been registered against the truck driver.Â
