Gardener of Tamil actor found dead

Police said Arumugam (52) was working as a gardener at the actor’s house. The gardener, who was also working in a few other houses in the locality, was reportedly missing for the past couple of days. 

As a search was launched to trace him, police received information that his body was found floating at a pond in a nearby stone quarry. Police, fire and rescue services personnel rushed to the spot and retrieved the body from the pond. 

Police believe that he might have accidentally slipped and fell into the pond and drowned. The body was sent for post mortem. Further investigation is on.
