12 hawala deals for IS unearthed across state

Rajasthan ATS sources told DTNext that the transactions had been carried out by the group through UAE and border countries with IS base. The ATS SP, Vikas Kumar, said that all the six would either be made accused in the case or turn approvers. 

“There is no doubt that the six are involved in the case. We are closely monitoring them and will soon issue summons to them for interrogation. So far, we have arrested three people for funding IS,” Kumar said, adding, more arrests are likely in the coming days. 

“We are now interrogating Haroon Rashid, and he is likely to reveal names of others involved in the case. A few team members are in Chennai for further investigation,” Kumar said, adding, “We are yet to find out the exact amount donated to the IS,” the SP said.
