Petrol bomb hurled at Chengalpattu BJP functionary’s house

Police said the miscreants had thrown a small bottle filled with petrol on the residence of Sreenivasan on Wednesday night. There were no damages in the incident. Following this, Sreenivasan lodged a complaint with the Chengalpattu Town police. Sreenivasan is an accused in a case of cheating. 

“He had started an agriculture company and collected about Rs 27 lakh from 253 depositors, assuring them returns with interest at the end of the year. Following complaints, the EOW had registered a case. Depositors usually create such problems,” Chengalpattu Town inspector, Lamech, told DTNext.
