Pedestrian electrocuted in Pondy Bazaar
A 46-year-old man was electrocuted when he tried to attend nature’s call on a roadside on North Usman Road on Friday evening.

Police said that the deceased Napoleon of Balamudhali Street was mentally unsound and that the incident happened on his way back home.
The road was flooded after a minor spell of rains in the area and he was electrocuted as he went near a transformer. Napoleon is survived by his wife and two children. Police said that he used to run a scrap shop and met with a loss before becoming mentally unbalanced. After his wife and children seperated from him, Napolean was living with his brother.
