2 held with fake documents at German consulate
Two men from Tiruvarur district have been arrested for producing fake work experience documents during a visa interview at the German Consulate here in the city.

The accused have been identified as Muthukumar (30) of Mannargudi Taluk and Balasubramanian (29) of Tiruthuraipoondi. Police took action based on the complaint filed by a Consulate official and arrested the duo at the interview venue.Â
According to police, the officials at the Consulate found out that the work experience certificates produced by the two are fake.Â
The accused have been remanded in judicial custody and the further investigation is on.
