    The security personnel along with the bomb detection and disposal squad recovered the boxes and had kept them in the cooling chamber on the premises. 
    According to airport sources, an abandoned suitcase was found near the entry gate number 1 of the domestic terminal around 3 am on Saturday. Immediately, on information the airport staff about the unclaimed luggage, the CISF personnel rushed to the spot with the bomb squad personnel. The squad retrieved the suitcase and put it in the cooling chamber so that even if there were explosives, it could be neutralised. 
    Before the confusion and clutter ended over the suitcase found near gate number 1, two more unclaimed suitcases were found near gate number 4 close to departure section at the domestic terminal. 
    CISF personnel rushed to the spot and retrieved the suitcases. All the three were kept in the cooling chambers and opened after 12 hours of cooling. Airport sources said the suitcases contained no explosives or contrabands. The CISF action and news about three abandoned suitcases inside the airport created a flutter. CISF had closed the gates number 1 and four when they carried out the checks.
