Sarath, Raadhika ill, skip Income Tax probe

Income Tax department sources told DTNEXT that Sharath Kumar and his wife Raadhika sought time citing health reason and wanted more time for their appearance. 

Meanwhile, the department sleuths continued to grill Dr MGR Medical University Vice-Chancellor Dr Geethalakshmi, hoping to uncover details of her financial transactions with state Health Minister C Vijaya Baskar. 

IT department sources said, Dr Geethalakshmi refused to divulge any proper details and stuck to her usual rhetoric that she never had any financial transactions with the Minister apart from official ones. 

“None of them is coming out with the facts of the financial transactions. But we have got enough evidences to proceed against them,” an I-T official said.
