Engineer demands house ahead of marriage, booked
The Teynampet All Woman Police have registered a case against an automobile engineer, his parents and brother after he allegedly abandoned his would-be bride. The couple was to tie the knot on April 2. The man turned her down after the girl’s parents refused to register their house in his name.

Teynampet police have registered a case against Arun Kumar (30), who works with a leading motor company. He lives in Taramani.
According to the complainant, the girl’s parents had agreed to his dowry demands. They had told him that their house would automatically belong to him as the girl’s brother is in Kolkata. “He later demanded that the house be registered in his name before the marriage and the girl’s family objected. He is missing,” a cop told DTNext.
