The Principal Sessions Judge Nazir Ahamed while granting custody of the trio directed the Enforcement Directorate to produce them in court before 3 pm on March 27.Â
Sekhar Reddy and his associates who were out on conditional bail were arrested on Monday after being accused by the Enforcement Directorate of money laundering based on the recovery of crores of rupees in banned currency and new notes of Rs 2,000 during raids on his properties in December.Â
Income Tax department authorities had then recovered Rs 142 crore cash, including new 2,000 rupee notes, adding up to Rs 34 crore, from the properties belonging to Reddy.
