After 15-minute chase, robber trio caught by police

In the act of nabbing the accused, a police constable suffered a knife injury on his hand. The cops arrested Vivek (23), Vijay (22) and Moses (21) of Thirumangalam for robbing watches, mobile phone and Rs 1,200 from Arun Prakash and his father, who were traveling in a Tata Ace. 

Prakash met a patrol team at Usman road and narrated the incident to them. Within minutes, cops gave chase to the bikes at Usman Road. However, one of the trio whipped out a knife and injured police constable Siva Prasad on the hand.
