Social media erupts over new CM announcement

Several memes quickly flooded the sites, reflecting the people’s state of mind. There is meme where Donald Trump is holding what looks like an official document that says ‘I have selected Sasikala as the CM of Tamil Nadu.’ 

Pradeep J, another social media user, wrote, “Trump or Sasikala? I was more shocked when the Undertaker lost to Brock Lesnar.” 

And then, there are those who feel she must be given a fair chance. Prem Kumar said, “We have decided even before she has come to power. She deserves at least one chance.” 

“I swore that I will not return to Chennai if the person in question becomes the CM. Now that Trump is in power in the US and is adamant on sending poor souls away from America, I guess the joke is on me,” said Kausalya R, an IT professional in the US. 

There were shrewd observations too. Sreya Vittaldev wrote, “ A very interesting turn of events for Dravidian politics.” 

Then there are some who want another protest. Shreepal P, said, “Match practice over… Time for some real #protest.”
