Jaya will be moved to private room in two days: Tarun Vijay

Tarun Vijay gave special prasadam from Kedarnath and a holy water from Lake Manasarovar for the Chief Minister to AIADMK leader and Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker M Thambidurai. Talking to reporters after meeting the doctors at the hospital, he said he would invite her for a thanksgiving puja at Kedarnath next year. He was told by the doctors attending on her that Jayalalithaa has recovered and in a day or two she would be shifted to her private room in the hospital. “It is hoped that she would start attending office also soon,” Tarun said. 

Later in a statement, Tarun Vijay, who spent about 40 minutes at the hospital, said he was taken to the room where Jayalalithaa was recuperating and was told by the doctors that to prevent the secondary infection, none were allowed to go in and meet her. “Otherwise she is on a fast recovery path,” he added. Tarun Vijay, who is also the president of Students and Youth for Thiruvallavur, said that Uttarkhand people were especially thankful to her for her support to Thiruvalluvar Ganga Payanam and hence special prayers were conducted for her health in Uttarkhand’s various temples. Meanwhile, AIADMK on Sunday said that its hospitalised General Secretary and Chief Minister Jayalalithaa was “well”. “Amma (Jayalalithaa) is well. God has given her good health and we are very happy,” AIADMK spokesperson CR Saraswathy told reporters.
