It is interesting to talk to somebody who has ‘Inspiring’ prefixed to his name. But, with his beautiful voice, happy smile and knack for looking at the positive side of life, visually-challenged CEO Inspiring Ilango truly justifies it. “I am a content person and I like spreading happiness around me. Despite limitations, I have managed to reach where I am today and I am sure many others can do so too. They just need to be talked to,” he says.
Inspiring Ilango is also a singer, voice-over artist, TV anchor and a writer. He inspires about 50,000 people in India and abroad annually through his motivational speeches and songs. “I want people to do something positive in their life through me. So I talk to them and try to do my bit. I tell them what I’ve been through or what I do to motivate people. So the idea is to make them think, ‘if he can, so can I’,” says Ilango. He is known to many students in schools, colleges, and software companies. His strength lies in the fact that he can make you smile by just talking to you.
“I don’t really preach or advice people. I just talk to them, sing songs and share anecdotes. I guess, people relate to it more,” he shares. It is remarkable how much positive energy and happiness this man is capable of sharing. So, when we ask him what the source of his inspiration is, he says, “I get inspired by everybody I meet or talk to. Every new day brings hope and positivity. And most importantly, I do things to inspire myself. That usually works.”
