Junior Correspondent: Streetlights, dustbins needed here

Chennai
I live in Valkmiki Nagar and I go to the beach close by every evening with my friends. All my friends get done with school only by 4 pm and come out to play only between 4.30 pm  and 5 pm. However, we have to wrap up everything and head home within an hour because the beach becomes very dark by 5.30 pm. There are no lights on the Valmiki Nagar Beach making it unsafe for us to go play beyond a point. Also, a lot can be done to beautify the beach and make it safer for kids to play.  There are no life guards on the shore to ensure that no one goes deep into the water.Â
Also the premises is extremely dirty and one can find glass bottles and plastic bags scattered everywhere. While playing, we have to be careful about not stepping onto the glass pieces. What I suggest is that the authorities can put three dustbins on the beach : one for throwing paper, another just for plastic bags and bottles and the third one for glass bottles. These can be later recycled.
