    DTNext-ASSOCHAM employability meet today

    As part of its efforts to network with members of the industry and academia, DTNext will host the ASSOCHAM Employability Summit today. Business moguls and educators from across the spectrum will deliver inspiring sessions on the way forward for India Inc.

    The topic of discussion at this summit will be “Enhancing Sustainable Employability: Perspectives & Best Practices”. The event will be held on October 12 at Hotel Leela Palace. The Chief Guest will be the Governor of Kerala, Justice (Retd) P Sathasivam. He will release a coffee-table book Educators of Tamil Nadu and delivering the inaugural address. The inaugural session, from 4 pm to 5 pm. 

    The welcome address will be delivered by Dr Vinod Surana, Co-Chairman, ASSOCHAM Southern Region and CEO, Surana & Surana International Attorneys. The theme address will be delivered by Ninan Thariyan, CEO, DTNext. The presidential address will be delivered by Subbaiyan, IAS. Dr Salivahanan, Principal, SSN College of Engineering will deliver the vote of thanks.

    Part 1 of the technical session will be held at 5.15 pm. The subject will be Best Practices in Employability & Skill Development. Participants include: from Higher Education: Dr Abraham Koshy, IIM-A; from industry: Suresh Iyer, MD, Lotte India and Ajit Mathai, Director, Deloitte.

    Part 2 of the technical session will be held at 6.45 pm. This session will include a Panel Discussion on Careers 2.0: Pathways, Partnerships & Programs. Participants include: Dr KR Maalathi, CEO, Aurora Educational Consultants; Sujith Peter, HR Head, Infosys Chennai; Latha Pillai, Director, RGNIYD. The session will be moderated by Dr Sathyanarayanan, Professor, IFMR. Entry by invitation only.
