Now it looks like frustrated government officials have found a new outlet as well. After reports surfaced on crumbling ceilings and falling panels at the city’s busiest international transport terminals, this journalist found herself (unwittingly) at the receiving end of an angry outburst by a highly stressed top official.

The conversation was initiated with the intention of getting a response on this key issue that affects thousands of commuters. However, the chat took an ugly turn when the official went on the offensive and demanded to know why such a story was important for a city paper when there were ‘a thousand other problems’. He further informed this reporter that just 1% percentage of travellers use the terminal and advised that the newspaper should look into other civic problems affecting the other 99%!

Before this reporter could even get a chance to explain to the official that the airport is the city’s most important transportation hub, which is why the story is important, the stressed-out official continued to let loose about his problems for the next 20 minutes after which he successfully unloaded his burden on this scribe who since then has developed a new-found love for ground transport!
