Civic polls: AIADMK forms from September 16
AIADMK Supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha today called for applications from aspiring party candidates wishing to contest the upcoming local bodies elections.

In a statement here, she said the filled in application forms would be received from aspiring candidates from September 16 to 22. She said applications for the post of Councillors in Chennai Corporation would be issued at the AIADMK Headquarters in the city.Â
In other districts as per the party organisational set up, application forms would be issued at the respective district offices, she added.
