After consultation among themselves, Jamaat members agreed to drop the sacrifice and tie the camel at the mosque. Following this, cops left the spot around 1 am on Tuesday.Â
Jamaat members also held talks on Tuesday morning and decided to conduct the sacrifice Tamil Nadu. They also decided to submit a petition to the City Police Commissioner to seek permission to take the camel outside the state.
Meanwhile three more camels were brought to South Gate where police held talks with the mosque members and stopped camels from being offered as sacrifice. The camels were later seen tied outside the mosque.
