AIADMK regrets Pondy govt failure to fetch statehood during its tenure

A resolution to this effect was adopted at an office bearers meeting held in the city, while another resolution  regretted that the N R Congress government failed to get Puducherry included in the smart city list.

A resolution also felt lapse on the part of the government in getting  an assistance of Rs.500 crore from the centre for  modernisation of AFT mills here.

Resolutions urging to celebrate the birthday of AIADMK General Secretary, J. Jayalalitha in a befitting manner and lauding her for implementing several schemes in Tamil Nadu  were adopted at the meeting.
