Chennai
What drew you to Zentangle?Â
I heard about Zentangle when I was living in the US. The monthly sessions were my timeout, as I had to take care of my two kids. I then got certified by Zentangle and started conducting classes here.Â
What’s the most striking thing about this art? Â
Many children and adults are fascinated by the intricate patterns they create. Many believe that they cannot do it but once they complete a pattern, they are thrilled. In a way, we are all programmed to draw, even before we speak or write. Cave paintings were the first forms of communication and expression.Â
Is Zentangle therapeutic?Â
Yes. Once you are engrossed in the pattern, you don’t notice the time fly. You are in your own creative world.
