Satyaraj-Vasanth Ravi starrer action-thriller titled Weapon

CHENNAI: Actor Sathyaraj has received the stature of a pan-Indian performer for his diversified roles in various regional movies. While the list of upcoming films looks promising, with many projects scheduled at different stages of production, he has now signed a new film titled Weapon.

The film also features Vasanth Ravi playing one of the lead characters. After his 2021 release Rocky, he will be seen in a pivotal role in Rajinikanth starrer Jailer.

Rajeev Menon, after Viduthalai, will be seen playing a crucial role in the film. Sources say that he plays the heroine’s father and the team has been auditioning for the female lead. The team will announce other members of the cast soon.

This film, which is an action-thriller, is scheduled to be shot across exotic locales of Chennai and hill stations. The film is produced by MS Manzoor of Million Studio and is directed by Guhan Senniappan. The music is composed by Ghibran and Prabhu Rhagav is handling the cinematography.

Celebrating Sathyaraj’s birthday, the team will release the title look of the film today.
