Director Shakthi Soundararajan is a perfectionist: Actress Masoom Shankar

She will be sharing screen space with Arya in the film directed by Shakthi Soundararajan. “I can’t divulge much about my role in the film. However, it is substantial and will be in contrast to my roles in Nagesh Thiraiyarangam and 90 ML,” she tells. The actress says that the role came with quite a few challenges. “However, director Shakthi made it a cakewalk for me. He explained what exactly he wanted from me for the role and made me comfortable. He is a perfectionist. I had to improvise now and then and I managed to pull it off. Shooting too on the sets was fun with Arya, Karunakaran, and Sathish around. They did their part to make me feel at home,” Masoom opens up.

Talking about her upcoming projects, she says, “I have signed a couple of other projects and one for a leading production house. Official announcement will be made soon. I have been honing my Tamil- speakingskills in the lockdown to carve a niche for myself in the long run in Kollywood,” she concludes.
