The actor recently interacted with his fans on social media and a few of them expressed their angst over Maddy’s choice to do Silence. One of his fans asked, “Hi Maddy, in the film, flash portion was not convincing.” To which Maddy replied in a polite way, “All I can say is, I am very sorry.” Another fan wrote, “How did you commit to Nishabdham movie? Did you like the story or it was just something you wanted to do? We see the movie to be a blunder. Would want to understand your perspective because you love what you do.” Maddy again kept his cool and said, “Well, you win some, you lose some... what can I say..we try to do our very best.” With these responses, Maddy won the hearts of netizens. Madhavan, who plays a cello player in Silence said that the initial idea was to present it as a silent feature that would have ensured that it caters to audiences without any language barrier and the idea had to be dropped later.
