Quarantine Chronicles: Rocky actor uses lockdown time to develop healthcare app
The lockdown may have caused a lot of people to put plans on hold, but Vasanth Ravi had other ideas. The actor, who has a healthcare background, tells us that he has spent his time working on an app that will benefit a lot of people. He also stayed fit by attending virtual workouts in the last few weeks
Vasanth Ravi awaits the release of his much-awaited film Rocky once things are back to normal. “But when is the question? I haven’t done much this lockdown,” he begins. The actor, who completed his healthcare management in Manchester casually adds, “I have been working on an app this lockdown and gave most of my time for that. It is a healthcare app for which I have been in talks with a team in the US. It is in its early stages and once it is out it will benefit people across the globe. We are working on it and has been shaping up well.”
Vasanth Ravi is someone who is known for staying in shape. “I missed my workout routine during the initial stages of lockdown. However, I enrolled myself for virtual yoga and fitness sessions. I am back to my normal fitness regime now. I do kickboxing too, so I feel pretty good about it,” he adds. On the work front, Vasanth Ravi’s Rocky has been one of the anticipated films ever since the release of its trailer. “I am looking forward to the theatrical release of Rocky as there is a lot of team work that has gone in to the film.
Everyone who has worked in the film has bagged huge projects and I am happy about it. The director, Arun Matheswaran will be directing Selvaraghavan sir and Keerthy Suresh in Sanni Kaayidham. The cinematographer of Rocky, Shreyaas Krishna is the lensman for Dhanush’s Jagame Thandhiram. Once Rocky is out, I am sure the film will be appreciated by the audience. I have been reading a couple of scripts and haven’t decided yet. Let things return to normal first and shootings be sorted out. I will make an announcement on my next soon,” Ravi concludes.
