Quiz connects mythological characters to modern times

Considering its popularity and how the shows got people’s attention again, Santhosh Kumar Subramanian, an entrepreneur from the city, has come up with a quiz series that connects incidents of Mahabharata and Ramayana to the current situation.

 “Though we have a lot of web content in various OTT platforms, these two shows have its charm. When I heard that the re-telecast of the shows has garnered record viewership, I thought of doing a fun quiz series that connects characters of Mahabharata and Ramayana to the present scenario. This is more like asking people what will the characters from the two epics would do if they were alive now!” says Santhosh, who runs the design agency The BS Labz. He shares one question a day on his company’s social media pages.

 He has made sure that the questions are structured in an interesting and informative wayFor eg., Dhuriyodhan wants to meet his maternal uncle Shakuni during Corona times.  Through this quiz series, he wants to create awareness on COVID-19 and also introduce children to the epics. “We have added topics like social distancing, red zone, green zone, travel regulations, etc. It was a fun exercise for me as well,” he adds.
