Lakshmi Priyaa to share screen space with Dhanush

 The shoot is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Tirunelveli for the film, which is tipped to be an intense social drama. The latest we hear is that actress Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, who was last seen in Richie, will be part of this project. A source in the know says, “Though actress Rajisha Vijayan is playing the female lead, Lakshmi Priyaa has been roped in to play an important role in the film. She has many combination scenes with Dhanush and her character will be an intense one.” Karnan is Lakshmi Priyaa’s first film after she recently got hitched to Venkataraghavan Srinivasan, a theatre personality and writer from Bengaluru. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under his home banner V Creations. The music of the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, who had earlier worked with Dhanush inVada Chennai.
