SK’s Doctor is based on kidney transplant racket
The shoot of Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film Doctor went on floors in the first week of December.

In an interview with us, the actor said that though the film is a comical entertainer, it will have a message in it. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila fame, the film has Priyanka Arul Mohan playing the female lead. The latest is that the story of Doctor revolves around kidney transplant racket.
“Upon its release, this will be the second Tamil film after Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal that talks about organ transplantation racket. Doctor revolves around the business of kidney transplantation. The shoot has been taking place at a rapid pace at a city hospital,” a source from the production unit told DT Next.
Yogi Babu has been roped in to play the comedian in the film that is bankrolled by Sivakarthikeyan Productions and KJR Studios. “Yogi Babu plays a victim of fake kidney transplant in the city and his portions with Sivakarthikeyan will be a laugh riot,” the source added. The movie will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. K Vijay Karthik is the cinematographer while Nirmal has been roped in as the editor. National award-winning stunt choreographers Anbariv is in charge of the stunts in Doctor.
