Ajith’s picture from Shalini’s birthday sparks Valimai rumours

Ajith’s latest picture with his fans took the social media by storm on Thursday. The actor, who was seen sporting black hair a few days ago, was recently spotted in his Vedalam look ahead of Valimai’s shoot next month.

Ajith’s fans took to social media and speculated that this might be one of the actor’s two looks in Vinoth’s directorial Valimai that is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP. A section of the media too reported the same. However, a source close to the actor clarified, “These pictures were clicked on Shalini’s birthday. This is a casual look and has nothing to do with Valimai. It is early to talk if he is playing a dual role or one.” Meanwhile, as Valimai is all set to go on floors in December, Boney Kapoor’s unscheduled meeting with Nayanthara in New York has sparked rumours that she has been roped in to play the heroine to Ajith for the second time in a year post Viswasam. However, the source refuted it calling it as a baseless.

In Valimai, Ajith will don khaki yet again after Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal. There are a few high octane bike racing scenes in the film.
