Ajith to join hands with Vadivelu after 17 years?
Ever since Boney Kapoor announced that he will be making yet another film with Ajith, directed by H Vinoth, there have been huge expectations from his fans. Titled Valimai, reports are doing the rounds that Ajith would be seen playing the role of a cop. The latest we hear is that veteran comedian Vadivelu has been approached to play a pivotal role in the film.

A source in the know of things says, “It’s true that Vinoth has initiated talks with Vadivelu. However, even though the latter committed for Kamal’s Thalaivan Irukkiraan, he is yet to finalise on the dates. It’s too early to talk about it.” If this happens, then Vadivelu will be reuniting with Thala Ajith after almost 17 years as they were last seen together in a film titled Raja, directed by directed by Ezhil.
Valimai is an action thriller and will go on floors from December. While Yuvan Shankar Raaja has been confirmed as the composer of the film, Nirav Shah is the cameraman.
