It takes three to tango for Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee
Director Atlee has signed a three-film deal for SRK’s production house in which SRK is expected to play the lead in a couple of films.

Bigil could probably be Atlee’s last film in Tamil for the next three years as sources in the know of things have confirmed that the director has signed a three-film deal for Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment. A reliable source from tinseltown told DT Next, “It is true that Atlee will be making three films for SRK’s banner. However, Shah Rukh Khan will bankroll all three and play the lead in a couple of films. This means that Atlee will be busy with his B’town projects till 2022-23.” The first film of the duo has been reportedly titled Sanki and is all set to go on floors in December.
The movie is apparently facing a title issue. “Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has already registered the title of Sanki for his upcoming film with Salman Khan as the duo believed that the title would be apt for the story. SRK, who also was excited about having Sanki as the title for the story narrated by Atlee and is likely to have a word with Sajid regarding the title,” the source added. Meanwhile, reports are that Atlee-Vijay’s Bigil has collected over Rs 250 crore at the box-office worldwide.
