Deepa Jayakumar moves Madras High Court to restrain the release of biopic on Jayalalithaa

According to reports, former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s niece Deepa Jayakumar has moved Madras High Court to impose a restraining order on the release of biopic on the former Chief Minister.
A couple of biopics are being made on J Jayalalithaa. Kangana Ranaut will be playing the role of Jayalalithaa in AL Vijay’s ‘Thalaivi’, and Deepa has sought a restrain on the release of Thalaivi.
J Deepa, in July this year, quit politics and dissolved her party MGR Amma Deepa (MAD) Peravai.
The film made headlines recently when photos of the movie’s cast and crew in London surfaced on social media. It is being said that Kangana is getting trained for classical dance form Baradhanattiyam to enhance her role as the late AIADMK leader.
