Kangana in talks for the Hindi remake of Aadai
Amala Paul’s last Tamil release Aadai won critical acclaim and the actress was lauded for her bold performance in the commercially viable venture. The latest is that Aadai is all set to be remade in Hindi.
Chennai
Aadai is about a free-spirited girl who lives life on her own terms. She rides a heavy duty motorcycle to work, drinks and smokes with her male co-friends at odd hours and would do anything to prove anyone wrong when she faces a challenge.
Mukhesh Bhatt has acquired the rights of the film for which Kangana Ranaut is in talks to reprise Amala’s role. She is expected to begin working on this film after she wraps up the shoot of Jayalalithaa’s biopic Thalaivi.
The director of the Tamil version, Rathna Kumar took to his social media handle and wrote, “Aadai Hindi Remake is starting soon. The most happening Hindi Actress is starring in it bankrolled by a renowned production house. More detail soon. Thank You,” (sic). The Hindi version of the film will be helmed by Rathna himself and he is in plans to rope in his cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan.
