Ramya Nambeesan roped in for Rio’s film

Badri Venkatesh, who has made films like Baana Kaathadi and Samma Bodhai Aagatha, will be directing this project and the shoot is all set to begin this week. The latest we hear is that actress Ramya Nambeesan, who was last seen in Agni Devi has been roped in as the heroine of the film. A source in the know of things says, “Ramya Nambeesan’s role will be a powerful one and her character will add lot of value to the script. She plays Rio Raj’s love interest and major portions of the film will be shot in Chennai. An official announcement will be made on Monday.” The actress is also part of films like Ranger and Tamilarasan, which has Sibiraj and Vijay Antony in the lead respectively. It is also worth noting that Rio Raj was seen in TV shows Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Kalloori Kaalam and Saravanan Meenatchi.
